Air France recently announced a new addition to its in-flight dining experience.
Since 01JUN, passengers departing from the airline's Canadian destinations, including Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, and Vancouver, have been treated to new dishes created by Chef Olivier Perret. With the addition of Ottawa to the Air France flight schedule this summer, passengers flying out from the Canadian capital will also have the opportunity to savour these dishes starting 27JUN.
Chef Olivier Perret, who has a background in Montreal's culinary scene, aims to combine French gastronomy with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. As a result, Air France passengers in the Business cabin will be able to enjoy two of the four dishes signed by Chef Perret on every flight departing from Canada. The dishes include a vegetarian and poultry option.
"Having lived in Montreal for many years, I want to take Air France customers on a culinary journey with my cuisine, combining French gastronomy with fresh ingredients from Quebec," says Olivier Perret.
To cater to the preferences of Air France customers, Chef Perret has crafted six dishes for the airline's menu over the next few months.
