Etihad’s Calgary Flights Are Full Through Year-End. Here’s What’s Driving Demand

#EtihadAirways has barely touched down in #Calgary, but its new non-stop service to Abu Dhabi is already off to a flying start.

The inaugural flight from #AbuDhabi arrived in Calgary on 25OCT with every seat sold. The first outbound flight on 27OCT, was also sold out. And according to airline representatives, flights on the four-times-weekly route are fully booked through the end of the year.

🇲🇽 On location in Guadalajara!

Open Jaw’s Karen Dahdah arrived on Air Canada’s inaugural YYZ–GDL flight on 26OCT to join a FAM trip co-hosted by Air Canada and the Jalisco State Ministry of Tourism. An incredible itinerary awaits, showcasing the region’s rich culture, history, cuisine and unique experiences.

A morning immersed in the history, architecture and flavours of Jalisco. From exploring Guadalajara’s historic downtown and its iconic landmarks to discovering the incredible murals at Cabañas Museum, the city is already making an impression.

We wrapped up the morning with a taste of local tradition at Kamilos 333, sampling carne en su jugo — a beloved Guadalajara speciality. Next up? Rolling up our sleeves to make pan de muerto ahead of Día de Muertos! 🍞

Stay with us for more from Jalisco.

🇵🇹 The race may be over, but the connections continue!

Following the 20th anniversary Air Canada–United Airlines Race, several travel advisors extended their Portugal experience with post FAM tours exploring the country through Wine, UNESCO heritage, Gastronomy, or Active & Nature.

The groups reunited last night for one final dinner, sharing stories, memories and new connections forged along the way.

As Edna Ray, Senior Manager, Regional Sales – Global Sales at Air Canada put it, “The partnerships and relationships that have been created here, that’s what it’s all about.”

And that’s what makes these industry experiences about so much more than the destination. Until next time, Portugal! 🇵🇹🥂
