Dubai Courts Canadians at Toronto Trade Roadshow

Dubai Courts Canadians at Toronto Trade Roadshow

Dubai is a luxe destination with gob-smacking architecture and a striking desert/urban vibe - and they want to see more Canadians.

That was the message delivered 05OCT at the Dubai Trade Roadshow at the Arcadian Loft in downtown Toronto. Hosted by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the event also offered agents the opportunity to meet and mingle with Canadian tour operators who feature the destination. In all, there were some 95 in attendance.

“Wowed” by Indigenous Experiences at Adventure Travel Summit

As night fell on the #Indigenouscommunity of #Wendake near Québec City, I strolled along a forest pathway celebrating the stories, culture and living heritage of the Huron-Wendat Nation in a thoroughly modern way.

For 1.2 km, I lost myself in light, sound and video projections, so oblivious to a sprinkling of rain that I thought it was a clever part of the experience.

Canadians this winter will have more opportunities

Canadians this winter will have more opportunities than ever to enjoy the Spice Island of Grenada.

The Grenada Tourism Authority laid out a fine spread in downtown Toronto on 29SEP, including a “boil down” dish cooked up by a Grenadian native who runs a restaurant outside the city. They also touched on new flights, the safety of visitors to the island and fun festivals.

ON LOCATION: Travelsavers 2026: Gen Z Rewrites Travel Playbook by Asking “Is It Worth It?”

Gen Z is changing how travel gets sold, and advisors at Travel Market 2026 heard that the shift is happening faster than expected. Younger travellers want trips that feel “worth it” to them, and that means easy to book, enjoyable and tailored.
