Air Transat has announced its full flight program for summer 2022. At the height of the season, it will operate more than 250 flights each week to 44 destinations. It will gradually increase its service to Europe, strengthen its position in the United States by offering flights to LAX and SFO for the first time, offer a selection of South destinations, and enhance its domestic flight program.
"We are actively rebuilding our network with a modern and versatile fleet that will enable us to meet the increased demand expected in 2022," said Annick Guérard, President and Chief Executive Officer, Transat. "We will be returning to almost all of the destinations served before the pandemic, in addition to offering Canadian travellers major new destinations."
An expanded Europe flight program
From YUL, the airline will offer 7 direct flights weekly to LGW and 14 to CGD. It also plans to restart operations to the French provinces, with service to BOD, LYS, MRS, NTE, NCE and TLS. A total of 19 European destinations will be accessible via direct service from YUL, including a new route to AMS.
Air Transat will also offer exclusive non-stop flights from YQB to two European capitals: CGD and, for the first time, LGW.
From YYZ, in addition to 14 weekly flights to LGW, travellers will also be able to fly to 13 other key European destinations in Croatia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the U.K.

United States: focus on California and Florida
From Montreal, Air Transat will introduce a new direct service to California with two flights a week to SFO and three to LAX. It will also intensify its service to Florida by operating flights between YUL and MIA throughout the year, in addition to flying to FLL and MCO from both YUL and YYZ.

The South all year

More domestic flights and connections
Air Transat will continue to enhance its domestic flight program, as it is "convinced" that the popularity of travel within Canada will still be strong in the summer of 2022, by observing the market and emerging travel trends.
These flights can also provide Canadians with access to international destinations via connections in YYZ and YUL.
