Hurtigruten Returns to the Norwegian Coast with All Ships in JUL; Reports Record Bookings

Hurtigruten Norwegian Coastal Express plans to return to the Bergen - Kirkenes route along the Norwegian coastline with all seven of its ships in JUL.

The cruise line also reported 50% higher bookings compared to pre-pandemic levels, and a record demand for 2022 small-ship sailings.

Hurtigruten will be the only cruise line to offer sailings along the Norwegian coast this summer.

"As vaccines are being rolled out and travel restrictions are lifted, we are seeing a huge pent up demand and strong booking trends across all markets. When international travel resumes, we will be ready to welcome our guests on board again," Hurtigruten Group CEO Daniel Skjeldam said.

"Operating safely throughout the pandemic also gives us unparalleled experience as we now are getting ready to welcome international guests" said Hedda Felin, CEO of Hurtigruten Norway.Hurtigruten ship on the Norwegian coast with mountains in the background
