Icelandair’s famous Northern Lights Boeing 757, Hekla Aurora, has been turned into 25,000 limited-edition keychains after the aircraft was retired and scrapped. German company Aviationtag salvaged sections of the jet’s distinctive fuselage in Spain before cutting and engraving them into individual tags, which are selling for €39.95 (about CAD$65.) The aircraft joined Icelandair in 2004, received its Northern Lights livery in 2014 and flew for the final time in November 2025, closing a colourful chapter in the airline’s Boeing 757 history.
