Nearly two years after the beginning of the pandemic, Halifax-based Maritime Travel agency has reported that Nova Scotians are ready to travel again, and in more good news, that around half of its clients are new and are switching to working with travel agents after previously booking their own trips online. According to Myranda Miller, a branch manager with Maritime Travel, "They would like to deal with somebody in person; somebody that has the expertise,” she said, adding that agents are getting used to the new normal of travel restrictions and requirements.
