Netherlands Drops Quarantine Requirement for Vaccinated US Travellers

Beginning 22SEP, vaccinated travelers from the U.S., the U.K., and other EU-designated “very high risk” areas will no longer have to self-quarantine upon arrival in the Netherlands. Visitors will still have to show a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours of travel or a rapid antigen test within 24 hours of travel. Those over the age of 13 must also complete a health declaration to keep with them. The Netherlands is slowly relaxing COVID-19 health protocols, including social distancing requirements, allowing restaurants and bars (among other spaces) to operate at full capacity. Face masks are still required on public transportation, as well as in airports and on aircraft.
