Mexico Cruise Fees Double

Mexico has doubled its fee for foreign cruise passengers from $5 to $10 per person, affecting popular ports including Cozumel, Costa Maya, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. The phased levy is set to rise again to $15 in July 2027 and $21 in August 2028, adding another cost for travellers as cruise prices and travel-related fees continue to climb.
