Miami International Airport is dealing with major flight disruptions after an Amazon cargo plane crash that killed five people, leaving two of its four runways closed. As of Tuesday morning, 42 flights had been cancelled and 62 delayed, with the FAA reporting average departure delays of more than two hours and some arriving flights being diverted to Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Fort Myers and Orlando. Advisors should check directly with their airline for the latest flight status as investigators continue working at the crash site.
