‘NOT FOR EVERYONE’

Direct Travel Targets Luxury Hosted Segment with “Altitude” Advisor Network

Direct Travel has launched Altitude by Direct Travel, a luxury hosted advisor network designed to “support independent advisors specializing in premium and luxury travel.”

The company says luxury is one of its “fastest-growing segments.”

“Altitude represents more than a new brand, it formalises our commitment to the luxury advisor community,” says Gerard Bellino, President of Leisure Travel at Direct Travel.

Direct Travel says Altitude advisors will be given access to programs with the world’s leading luxury hotel brands, as well as Virtuoso membership and exclusive cruise benefits.

The company highlights Cruise as being one of its strongest markets, complemented by air partnerships, luxury hotel programs and bespoke travel services.

Stephen Smith, Executive Vice President of Leisure Travel at Direct Travel, says technology is at the forefront of the launch, “Independent advisors are entrepreneurs. Our investment in technology ensures they can streamline client management, access booking tools seamlessly, and leverage data-driven insights to grow their business. We’re building out a platform where advisors can focus on what matters most—the client experience.”

The launch follows the company’s recent appointment of a dedicated management team focused exclusively on independent travel advisors.
