TDC's New Gift Card Loyalty Program "100% Digital"

TDC National Leadership Conference 2023

The fourth and final day of Transat Distribution Canada's (TDC's) National Leadership Conference at the Breathless Riviera Cancún Resort & Spa included an announcement about the comnpany's new gift card program, along with hands-on workshops by expert speakers and recognition of members and milestones.

TDC goes digital with its loyalty gift card program

TDC’s General Manager Karine Gagnon announced the redesign of its gift card program.

"The new gift card program developed by TDC, which will be officially launched in mid-May, will be completely digital," she told attendees.

"This will make the gift card issuance process much easier for our owners and their advisors, as the purchase will now be done exclusively online, by the customer. So, easier to issue, without the intervention of the agency and travel professionals and easy to exchange in the agency or by phone: it's a win-win situation," she explained.

"This gain in efficiency throughout the gift card purchase and redemption process will allow owners to take even greater advantage of this very lucrative market segment, potentially gain the loyalty of new customers and thus generate more revenue for their agency, especially with the new solution for businesses, allowing the purchase of gift cards in bulk via the new website”.

Recognition

Closing the 2023 TDC National Leadership Conference, General Manager Karine Gagnon said, "At TDC, our goal is to focus all our efforts on one thing: to support our members as best we can, to equip them to be better entrepreneurs, effective managers, to ensure the growth of their businesses. And I think that's what we did this week”.

Gagnon also announced that TDC's recognition program is back on track. "Our members are what we're all about, so we're very excited to have this program back. TDC has a lot of long-time members who are loyal, so it's important to recognize them. As a result, more than a dozen members who celebrated their fifth anniversary of TDC membership between 2020 and 2023 were recognized after the general manager’s closing remarks.

As for the approximately 25 owners who were celebrating 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years and even 35 years, they were recognized as part of the special closing night during a separate ceremony at the Chic Cabaret at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres.
