Open Jaw's Retail Analyst and CEO of TTI Travel, Rocky Racco, has been recognized by the Ted Rogers School of Management's Hospitality & Tourism department at the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University.)
Racco was given the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality & Tourism Industry Award 2023–2024 in recognition of his commitment to supporting the next generation of travel professionals.
Racco, who is on the school’s board of directors, was given the award at the 26JUN board meeting, told Open Jaw it was “a very proud moment."

Although the award was unexpected, he said, "I am very proud that TTI Travel has been recognized for our ongoing commitment to the improvement of our industry."

Chosen by the school's faculty to receive the award, Racco was recognized for his efforts, according to a letter from the school, "for your steadfast commitment to the work in all three of our subcommittees in our Advisory Council, as well as supporting our Culinary and Catering Department. You have assisted us greatly in helping us to recruit new students to the program, being a critical partner in developing our external catering strategy, as well as being a critical voice in developing the strategic plan going forward."
