
FCM Global Travel announced on 16NOV the promotion of Alexandra de Vaux to the role of SVP of Sales within the Americas region.
Based in New York, Alexandra de Vaux is currently responsible for the overall sales and strategy associated with midmarket opportunities in the United States and Canada. Her new role includes additionally overseeing sales and strategy as it relates to Enterprise.
de Vaux started her Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) career close to 15 years ago beginning with Corporate Traveller (CT) in the London, UK office. After 2 years, she moved to the USA to open the NYC CT office and grow the SME brand in the US market. After some time in sales leadership roles at CT, she moved into the FCM business as National Sales Leader in 2015 leading the growth and expansion of the brand’s mid-market customer base while also introducing and developing key strategic sales roles. In 2017, Canada was added to her territory and she was named VP of sales for the Americas region.

FCM Travel also announced the appointment of Ben Johnson as Director of Customer Strategy. The role will focus on driving value initiatives across FCM that improve the customer experience. This will include steering the strategy and operating framework that supports the customer journey, identifying opportunities for business process improvements, and driving customer advocacy.
