Condor Airlines, one of Germany’s largest leisure carriers, has resumed flights to Canada after a month-long pause with a flight to YYZ from FRA on 07SEP. The airline also resumed flights to YHZ 09SEP.
Following the service resumption, Condor will fly from FRA to YYZ three-times weekly until 06NOV 2021, and to YHZ two times weekly until 04NOV 2021.
“Our guests have had to wait a long time to be able to travel across the big pond to North America again. Now Canada has invited all North America fans who are fully immunized to join them again and we are pleased to offer five connections per week from Frankfurt to Canada,” said Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor.
The resumption of service is due to Canada reopening its borders to fully vaccinated international travellers, as previously reported by OpenJaw.
OpenJaw recently attended a webinar presented by Condor Airlines, which discussed the carrier’s return to Canada. After this fall season, Condor will subsequently open seasonal service to five Canadian gateways from MAY to OCT 2022: YHZ, YYZ, YYC, YVR and YXY.
