Holland America Celebrates Alaska Statehood with Onboard Credit

In honour of Alaska Statehood Day, Holland America Line has several ways to celebrate the Great Land, including a $50-per-person onboard credit and the chance to win an exclusive commemorative pendant necklace inspired by the Alaska wildlife Holland America treasures.

Holland America Line has a storied history with the Great Land, having explored Alaska longer than it’s been a state. The cruise line offers the most visits to Alaska’s glaciers and more access to wildlife than any other cruise line. With more than 75 years of exploring Alaska, Holland America brings guests through the Inside Passage to iconic cities like Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, while also showcasing the breathtaking wilderness of Denali National Park for guests who join a combined cruise and land Cruisetour.

As Holland America celebrates Alaska’s 66th birthday, guests who book a cruise from Jan. 3-5, 2025, will receive a $50 onboard credit per person. This is on top of up to $400 in onboard spending credit available per stateroom during the "Start Your Journey" sale. This offer provides guests who book select spring 2025 through spring 2026 cruises with the "Have It All" premium package a free stateroom upgrade in select categories, reduced fares, free or reduced kids cruise fares and 50% reduced deposits.

The cruise line is also celebrating Alaska Statehood Day with an exclusive giveaway in partnership with Effy Jewelry. Starting Jan. 3, 2025, anyone can enter to win a commemorative blue topaz whale's tail pendant, valued at $1,500. This piece is available only from Holland America Line, making it a truly unique keepsake. The deadline to enter for a chance to win is Jan. 10, 2025. Guests sailing on Alaska-bound ships in 2025 can also purchase the pendant necklace in the onboard Effy shops.
