Emerald Cruises Unveils New Caribbean Itineraries for Winter 2024/25

Emerald Azzurra

Emerald Cruises announced new Caribbean itineraries aboard the Emerald Azzurra for the winter 2024/2025 season.

The new routes will explore less-travelled Caribbean locales, including Jost van Dyke and Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands, Montserrat and Antigua. Emerald Azzurra will sail between St. Thomas or San Juan and St. John’s, Antigua, allowing for convenient air travel for US guests. Highlighted by overnight stays in the glamorous St. Barths and visits to the serene islands of Guadeloupe and Barbuda in the Leeward Islands, these itineraries are tailored for discerning travellers seeking unique destinations.

This expansion comes in response to strong demand for the Caribbean sailings aboard sister yacht Emerald Sakara, which has nearly reached full capacity for the upcoming season. Emerald Cruises has thoughtfully realigned its offerings, increasing its Caribbean presence while strategically adjusting its 2024/2025 Safari and Seychelles operations to prioritize guest safety and satisfaction amid evolving regional dynamics.

“Our decision to increase our Caribbean presence reflects the strong guest interest in this region and aligns with changes in the Red Sea conditions,” said Lisa McCaskill, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Scenic Group Canada. “This adjustment not only enhances our offerings in highly sought-after destinations, but ensures guests’ safety and satisfaction. Emerald Azzurra’s new schedule has been meticulously crafted to access unique ports that larger vessels simply cannot reach, providing exclusive and intimate exploration for all onboard.”

The new Caribbean itineraries will sail from 07DEC, 2024, until 22FEB, 2025. In addition, travellers who seek longer cruises may combine cruises with minimal overlapping of ports:

The 8-day “Caribbean Yachting Hideaways” sailings offer an intimate glimpse into the vibrant life of the Caribbean’s smaller ports, showcasing island life's unique culture and relaxed pace.

The 8-day “Caribbean Yachting Discovery” sailings provide an authentic beach-hopping adventure, with most days spent at anchor, allowing guests to explore secluded beaches and serene swimming spots across the Caribbean. A special New Year’s sailing departing December 28 will include a festive New Year’s Eve party and New Year’s Day brunch while anchored off St. Barths.

To celebrate the launch of these new sailings, guests can save up to USD $4,000 per person on new Caribbean cruises on select 2024/2025 dates.
