Club Med Buccaneer's Creek Announces Additional Resort Renovations

Club Med, the pioneer of the all-inclusive concept, has announced that Club Med Buccaneer’s Creek in Martinique will undergo additional Resort renovations following its Fall 2023 upgrades, which included significant changes to the rooms, reception area, main restaurant, and bar. The additional changes, slated for Winter 2025, will focus on the remaining guest rooms, further upgrades to the main restaurant, and spa.

Club Med Buccaneer’s Creek originally opened in 1969, making the property the first Club Med Resort to open in "the Americas.” Tucked away in the large coconut groves of Martinique facing Diamond Rock, this French Caribbean Resort stands out along the beautiful coastline surrounded by turquoise waters. The property will undergo the second phase of its refresh to rejuvenate the Resort and enhance the overall guest experience, which represents an important step in Club Med’s global commitment to evolving the brand to a more upscale experience.

Guests can expect:

Refreshed Accommodations:

The remaining 78 rooms will undergo a complete refresh with all new modern furniture and decorative elements, including new fabrics, curtains, and decorative lighting, as well as a full refurbishment of the bathrooms with new hardware, finishings, and light fixtures. All the resorts rooms will be renovated for winter 2025.

Enhanced Dining Areas:

After the renovation of the seaside dining area, the two indoor rooms will be renovated and redesigned.

Spa by Payot:

The Spa will be completely renovated with new cabins added.
