Adventure Canada announced literary icon Margaret Atwood will be joining the operator's 2024 expedition, Greenland and Arctic Canada: High Arctic Explorer.

The expedition takes place 15-27AUG 2024, taking guests to cultural historical sites dating back to the Thule period and the European explorer era to the Ilulissat Icefjord. Along the way, guests can search for  wildlife–polar bears, whales, walruses, seabirds–and experience the nature of the Arctic.

Guests can enjoy an Inuit cultural welcome at Mittimatilik (Pond Inlet), visit Beechey Island National Historic Site, and explore the west coast of Greenland.

According to Adventure Canada, Atwood has been travelling as a staff member with the operator for twenty years. Guests will have the opportunity to learn from her firsthand as she shares her insight and stories about the region.
