It's like a match made in heaven - or at least Hogwarts, famously accessed by Harry Potter and other young wizarding hopefuls via a magical train ride.
Amtrak is partnering with the Broadway show “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” And as part of the promotion, it has wrapped four locomotives operating on the Northeast Corridor (NEC) between Washington, D.C., and Boston.
The train wrap features the show’s logo along with Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy along with other characters including: Albus Potter, Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Granger-Weasley. While these trains won’t be stopping at Platform 9 ¾, Amtrak hopes pax will have a "magical journey on the NEC."
As part of the collaboration with the show and Audience Rewards, the official rewards program for Broadway, guests and Amtrak Guest Rewards members can earn and redeem Amtrak Guest Rewards points on tickets to the show. According to Amtrak, it is free for Amtrak Guest Rewards members to register with Audience Rewards.
