At the start of the 2023 season, Belmond is debuting a long-term partnership with Dior Beauty on board the Belmond Royal Scotsman, which Belmond says is the country's only luxury sleeper train. In addition to the launch of the Dior Spa Royal Scotsman, the company is launching two new themed rail journeys through the Highlands.
Dior Spa Royal Scotsman
The Dior Spa Royal Scotsman has two treatment rooms located in one of the train’s carriages. The spa menu includes three custom treatments created by the French maison’s wellness experts to meet the specific needs of train travel, and can be taken before or after an outdoor excursion. The D-Travel body massage (30 minutes / one hour) is a deep, slow massage that eliminates toxins, releases tensions, and relieves pain. The D-Elements full body treatment (one hour) begins with the application of hot stones on the back followed by massage strokes. Bain Dior body mist and hot oshibori end the treatment. For the face, the D-Highlands treatment (one hour) is inspired by Kobido facial massage techniques and uses the Dior Prestige line, resulting in a facial that sculpts the face’s features and improves the skin’s appearance.
Space to Watch
Two new grand suites by interior designer Tristan Auer are set to debut in MAY 2024 with ensuite bathrooms, double beds, and private living area. Grand suites also include added amenities like private transfers to and from the train and one spa treatment in the Dior Spa on board.
