Marriott Hotels announced on 15DEC the debut of its first resort in the United Arab Emirates (UAE): Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

Located along the island's West Beach, the property features 10 dining concepts, an expansive pool, kids club, spa, fitness center, water sports, and marine activities.

"With the opening of this resort, we continue to live our legacy of wonderful hospitality, and build momentum for the brand's evolution and modern appeal that is tailormade for our guests to empower their every pursuit."

The resort's 608 guestrooms and suites feature ocean views, private balconies, a pillow menu, mood lighting, entertainment systems, and large bathtubs. Interconnecting rooms focus on family stays, and the two-bedroom suites have separate living, sleeping, and dining spaces.

Dining

Rustic: contemporary trattoria serving handmade pasta.

Gelateria by Cucina: Ice cream parlour serving gelato in a variety of flavours.

Levantera: an all-day dining venue featuring Mediterranean cuisines, a designated kids buffet and an overall focus on health and produce sourced from local farms.

MYAMI Pool Bar & Lounge: American, Caribbean, and Latino-inspired concept serves cocktails and light bites with a swim-up bar in a South Beach Miami-type setting.

Señor Pico: This beach restaurant serves San Francisco-styled American-Mexican comfort food and craft drinks.

The Lobby Lounge: situated in the ‘Greatroom’ features tea and coffee service, cakes, pastries, and other types of desserts including chocolate ravioli.

Bal Harbour Beach: opening in 2023, this beachside spot offers a place to have a light meal and tropical drinks.

Above Eleven: opening in early 2023. Combining Japanese, Peruvian and American elements into its concept, the restaurant will also have an open-air, rooftop location.

Smoki Moto Dubai: expected to open in 2023, the resort's flagship restaurant will be the first high-end Korean steakhouse in the city.

M Club: Guests staying in an M Club room or suite have access to this lounge serving complimentary refreshments, breakfast, light bites, a grab 'n' go menu, and hors d'oeuvres and a Cocktail Hour in the evenings.

Recreation

The Fitness Centre: open 24 hours a day, the hotel's fitness facility has state-of-the-art equipment and offers group classes, personal training options as well as an age-appropriate fitness program designed for younger guests. 

Saray Spa: set to open in 2023, the resort's Middle Eastern-inspired spa will feature private treatment rooms, a couples room with a waterbed and jacuzzi, and relaxation areas. The spa will have a range of treatments including the Saray Hammam, a traditional cleansing ritual. 

Kids Program: young guests have a dedicated check-in area and receive gifts throughout their stay. In-room amenities include board games, children's robes, slippers, and bedding. The Kids Club features a playground, pool, and a program of activities including yoga, crafts, and karaoke. The resort offers a ‘Kids Go All Inclusive’ Package allowing children to select from special menus and enjoy unlimited soft beverages, snacks and grab 'n' go healthy treats from select venues throughout the day. 

Mbrace Club: In 2023, locals can join an all-inclusive recreational membership with access to Saray Spa, the Kids Club, fitness center, pool, and beach.

Event Spaces

Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai has more than 20,000 square feet of event space, 11 venues including a Majlis, and over 10,000 square feet of outdoor terrace space and a business centre.
