Hurtigruten Expeditions is celebrating Travel Advisor Appreciation Week, which takes place 02-06MAY, with a Galápagos sales incentive.
Any travel advisor booking three of the cruise line’s 9-day Galápagos adventures departing in 2022 will receive a free trip on the same itinerary to use for themselves for travel on any departure through 31MAR 2023.
Full details are available on Hurtigruten’s trade portal.
“We are extremely thankful for the wonderful support from our travel advisor partners, who generate a significant part of Hurtigruten Americas’ overall business," said Jeffrey Oar, President, Hurtigruten Americas. "As always, we know one of the most appreciated initiatives among our travel advisor partners is the extended sales period that starts before and finishes after they have been open to the general public.”
The Galápagos Islands are Hurtigruten Expeditions’ latest destination, and in APR, Hurtigruten Group announced a 24.9 per cent minority stake acquisition in Galápagos Islands and South American tour operator Metropolitan Touring.
Beginning in 2023, Hurtigruten will offer four, year-round itineraries covering all of the Galápagos. The current 9-day Eastern Loop will be complimented by the slightly shorter Western Loop and the Northern Loop, which can also be combined into an 11-day itinerary. For 2022 itineraries, travel advisors can enjoy a special rate of USD $2,277 for double occupancy.
Besides launching the Galápagos in 2022, Hurtigruten Expeditions is adding two new destinations this year, Alaska and West Africa. This summer, the expedition company will offer two Alaskan itineraries (available both Northbound and Southbound), a 14-day itinerary between Vancouver and Alaska (and vice versa), and an 18-day cruise that covers the Inside Passage, the Alaskan Peninsula, the Aleutian Islands, and crosses the Bering Sea.
