Swoop crew members celebrate the first inaugural YOW service from YEG.

Swoop celebrated its first flight between YEG and YOW on 25APR. It's the start of the carrier's non-stop Ottawa service, which will operate five times weekly.

"Today's inaugural service to Ottawa marks the first of many new routes for Swoop this summer, and we're thrilled to be celebrating this non-stop connection between Edmonton, our Western Canada base, and Ottawa, our Nation's Capital" said Bert van der Stege, Head of Commercial and Finance, Swoop.

On 19JUN, Swoop will add more non-stop YOW service, connecting Canada's capital to YHZ and YWG.

"At a time when the demand for air travel is reaching unprecedented heights, we know these new routes will play an important role in helping Canadians reconnect with friends and family this summer and assist in the recovery of the tourism economy" continued van der Stege.

To celebrate the launch, Swoop announced introductory one-way flight fares for the route beginning at CAD $59. The offer is valid until 05MAY or while seats last.
