Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is set to expand in Mexico's Baja California Sur with Fairmont La Paz Puerta Cortes Resort and Residences set to open in 2023 in the state's capital city of La Paz.

Fairmont La Paz Puerta Cortes Resort and Residences will reportedly be located within the Puerta Cortes resort community. The community is set on 550 acres of environmentally protected coastal lands, and includes access to amenities such as a marina, Mexico’s only Gary Player Signature Course, El Cortes Golf Club.

“Fairmont La Paz Puerta Cortes marks a significant milestone in Accor’s growth in Mexico and will be an exceptional addition to Accor’s luxury portfolio as the Group continues to expand its presence in North America,” said Heather McCrory, CEO, Accor North & Central America.

Fairmont La Paz Puerta Cortes Resort and Residences will include 155 guestrooms and 24 suites, with 61 one-to-four bedrooms also equipped with private plunge rooms. Other amenities include four dining and beverage options, including several beachfront dining venues as well as three outdoor pools and a Wellness Village that includes a spa and various fitness offerings.
