Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Playa Hotels & Resorts has announced the official opening of Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun, an all-inclusive family-friendly resort, on 22SEP. The property is the newest addition to the Hyatt Ziva portfolio and will be operated by Playa Hotels & Resorts. Situated near the Cancun Hotel Zone, the 438-room Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun resort is nestled between the Caribbean Sea and the lagoon of Bahia Petempich.

“We’re thrilled that Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun is welcoming guests and World of Hyatt members to experience the Hyatt Ziva brand in Mexico, a key leisure destination this year,” said Frank Lavey, Senior Vice President of Global Operations, Hyatt. “This addition to the Hyatt Ziva portfolio offers a sophisticated, multi-generational stay in the exciting Riviera Cancun region.”

Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun will feature suites with private balconies featuring ocean views and other touches such as spa-like bathrooms with rainfall showers, hot tubs, turndown service, complimentary minibars, and more.

For dining options, the property will include a variety of amenities including 17 globally inspired and locally authentic restaurants, bars, and lounges.

Other amenities include nine swimming pools; including an ocean-view pool, a water park with slides, and a kid's pool; as well as a fitness center, and a two-story Zen Spa inspired by pre-Hispanic Mayan culture with 13 indoor and eight outdoor treatment rooms; among others.

Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun has more than 51,000 square feet of meeting and event space, accommodations, a multitude of gourmet dining options, and conference facilities. The resort highlights its technology services and event planning staff to support all meetings and conference needs.
