Air Transat has resumed operations to Portugal and the UK, with its first flight to LGW and two flights to LIS completed during the past week.
Air Transat will initially be flying three times weekly from YYZ to LGW, with its first flight between the two destinations completed on 15SEP. Yesterday, on 15SEP, the airline had also announced it would be resuming flights from YYZ to MAN earlier than expected on 19OCT due to strong consumer demand. It is also set to resume direct flights from YYZ to GLA on 15DEC.
Passengers travelling to and from the UK will fly on the airline's brand new Airbus A321neoLR, which has the lowest environmental impact in its class, reinforcing the company’s commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
Air Transat will also be flying twice weekly direct flights from YUL to LIS and YYZ to OPO, after completing its first two flights to the Portuguese destinations this past week. Direct flights from YYZ to FAO in Portugal are also set to begin on 18JAN 2022
