Globus Bus

The Globus family of brands, which consists of Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and river cruise company Avalon Waterways, announced that it is extending its pre-trip Health & Safety Protocols, which includes proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to join any vacation in its portfolio, through MAR 2022.

“The health and safety of our travellers is our top priority,” said Stéphanie Bishop, managing director for the Globus family of brands in Canada.

“And we are committed to providing our guests with sustainable, responsible travel across the globe. Given this, we have extended our requirement for travellers to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination into 2022. By making this announcement now, we’re giving our guests time to plan accordingly, with the assurance to travel more freely in each destination."

She adds that, "Our previous decision to require proof of vaccination for 2021 travel was very well-received.”

The family of brands will advise all travellers of vaccine implications or changes with advanced notice.

Under the extended current policy, all Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms travellers need to provide proof of an approved COVID-19 vaccination, completed at least 14-days prior to embarkation. Accepted vaccines are those authorized or approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Health Canada, European Centre for Disease Prevention (ECDC) or an official government body.
