Windstar Cruises to Resume With Fully Vaccinated Tahiti Voyages and Special Offer

Windstar Cruises resumed cruising in Tahiti this week with vaccinated guests and crew aboard the 148-pax Wind Spirit. With this voyage, half of Windstar’s six-yacht fleet is now back in the water.

To celebrate, the company is bundling free drinks into its pricing. One such offer is the Air + Hotel package from LAX, which includes a round trip flight on Air Tahiti Nui, pre-cruise accommodations and a post-cruise day room, ground transfers in Tahiti, and a seven-, 10- or 11-night boutique cruise in French Polynesia.

Vacations booked before 30JUL give pax a free beverages package, including an unlimited selection of wines, spirits, beers and cocktails. For those who don’t partake, they can choose shipboard credit to put towards other experiences.

“Windstar glides into small bays other cruise ships can’t reach and drops anchor at some of the earth's most beautiful islands like Bora Bora and Moorea,” says Windstar president Christopher Prelog. “Because French Polynesia is such a popular destination for romance, most guests book these itineraries quite far in advance, leading to lots of pent-up demand on a limited-space small yacht after a year of cancelled honeymoons and anniversary trips. These intimate cruises are filling fast.”

Windstar’s other 2021 fully vaccinated cruises include the Wind Surf, departing 08AUG in the Mediterranean, the Northern European voyage of the Star Legend leaving 04SEP and the Star Pride’s Caribbean trip on 04NOV.
