In conjunction with the country's 75th Independence Day on 25APR 2023, the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced its new Destination Specialist Program.

Now live on the Travel Agent Academy, the program is designed to educate travel trade members about Israel as a destination, providing specializations in faith based, multigenerational, heritage, and outdoor/adventure travel.

The program also provides sellers with culinary and cultural tours and itineraries, showcasing a diversity of experiences available from water adventures and Dead Sea tourism to local cuisine and UNESCO heritage sites.

The courses includes information for those not familiar with Israel, but is also designed to assist those already selling the destination or who want to learn more about Israel. The destination program also qualifies advisors for up to four continuing education units (CEU) through the Travel Institute.

As noted by the Israel Ministry of Tourism, the program joins a new industry-focused website offering information about Israel's regions, its tour guides, tour operators, hotels, specialty topics and more.

For more information, visit the Destination Specialist Program's website.
