Granite Travel Trade Expos has announced that new dates are now confirmed to expand the expos across the country to Western Canada, The Maritimes, and additional cities in Ontario this Fall.

“The expansion of our Granite Travel Trade Expos is a direct response to the success of our April shows and industry demand to bring it to other markets,” said Bradley Dean, Partner, Granite Productions, Oakville, ON.

In total, over 20 travel suppliers including Tauck, Manulife, St. Kitts, Expedia, Porter, Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts and more than 325 agents attended the Granite Travel Trade Expos which took place in APR in the Ontario markets of Kitchener/Waterloo, Hamilton, Mississauga and Barrie.

According to Granite, the series of regional travel trade events are designed to connect industry suppliers and "top-producing travel agents," facilitating in-person interactive consultations and presentations. Granite adds that the shows are geographically located in cities with agents who provide suppliers with significant sales volume, though they are typically less serviced than larger cities in the area.

Each event is focused on training and networking. In each city, a presentation series featuring six 15 minute segments by suppliers was a highlight followed by a trade show, dinner, and prize giveaways.
