AMResorts Wraps Up its 4th Annual ‘Amazing May’ Campaign

AMResorts held its fourth annual Amazing May campaign, in celebration of travel agent appreciation month. The campaign focused on agents’ education and awareness of the company and its offerings.

Over 7,500 agents attended Amazing May events, and were rewarded with incentives and webinars to celebrate their loyalty in continuing to drive travel with AMResorts. Prizes included a one-million AMRewards points giveaway, commission bonuses, and special Master Agent rates resulting in over 2,000 room nights booked.

Throughout the month, four webinars with live streams of resorts were hosted. The themes of the webinars ranged from epicurean delights, to AMResorts’ water parks and family fun, to upselling. Over 1,500 travel agents joined the webinar series, and three winners were randomly chosen to join the AMResorts teams on destination to be featured live on an upcoming webinar.

An expert travel panel was also present to inform travel agents on current market trends and future forecasts and opportunities. Panelists Jill LaBarr, Vice President Business Development Manager of Palm Coast Travel and OASIS Travel Network; Drew Daly, Senior Vice President and General Manager of World Travel Holdings; and Cyndi Miller Aird, USA Representative of the St. Martin Tourist Office, all joined Mary Ellen Burke, the National Director of Sales of AMResorts at Secrets St. Martin Resort and Spa, in delivering the panel discussion.

To keep the momentum following the campaign, AMResorts plans to give more chances to “be amazing” with a summer and fall calendar filled with agent engagement events, FAMs, and conference sponsorships that will culminate at the end of the year with the second Amazing Agent Celebration; AMResorts’ invitation-only agent recognition event for top producers.

The event will be held at the new Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen from 01 to 05DEC, and will provide agents with the opportunity to engage with select senior executives of AMResorts.
