Trevello World Holdings, the parent company of host agency Trevello Canada, has acquired the Gifted Travel Network (GTN), a host agency based in North Carolina focused on the luxury market.
The Gifted acquisition marks Trevello's foray into the U.S. market. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“This is a pivotal moment for Trevello as we bring our proven expertise and commitment to advisor success into the world’s largest travel market,” said Morris Chia, Founder and CEO of Trevello World Holdings Inc.
According to Trevello, Gifted and its brand will remain intact, operating as a division of Trevello World Holdings.
Gifted co-founder Jen Cochrane will continue as CEO, and the rest of Gifted's executive team will remain in place. Both Cochrane and former Gifted owner Meredith Calloway will become shareholders in Trevello World Holdings. GTN will continue to operate under its brand.
“GTN’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence align seamlessly with Trevello’s vision for empowering advisors and delivering exceptional travel experiences,” added Jen Cochrane, Co-Founder and CEO of GTN.
Trevello’s expansion into the U.S. will be spearheaded by Morris Chia, with support from Trevello World Holdings’ Co-Founder and COO, Zeina Gedeon, who currently leads Trevello’s Canadian operations.
“We are committed to developing a sustainable and rewarding future for travel advisors. With the acquisition of GTN we are taking the first step forward in starting to reimagine what success looks like in this industry,” said Chia.
