John Lovell Named President of Travel Leaders

John Lovell, CTC, President of Travel Leaders Network

John Lovell, CTC, will add to his current duties at Internova Travel Group and become President of Travel Leaders Network on 01JAN 2025.

"Since the formation of Travel Leaders Network, Lovell has had strategic oversight of the consortium and is heavily involved in its decision-making, with responsibility in the areas of strategic operations, P&L performance, partner sales and the overall growth of the organization. With its explosive expansion, coupled with its more sophisticated and powerful agency network, Travel Leaders Network demands that Lovell take on a more active role," the company said in a statement.

The presidents of Roadtrips, which offers luxury travel packages to major sporting events, and Bonotel Exclusive Travel, the wholesale distributor of both branded and boutique luxury hotel rooms, will continue to report to Lovell.

“This is an exciting time to be part of Travel Leaders Network,” said Lovell. “Consumers are increasingly recognizing the benefits that come with using a skilled professional travel advisor to plan their trips. Travel advisors save time, get clients the best value for their money and provide peace of mind.

"They also open up a world of experiences for travellers that they might not find on their own.”

Prior to his role in the executive leadership of Internova Travel Group, Lovell served as President of Vacation.com and also held executive positions with ANC Rental Corporation and Renaissance Travel Solutions.

He is recognized within the travel industry for his expertise on the growing popularity of travel advisors, cruise and leisure travel trends, and the retail travel business. Lovell was inducted into the CLIA Hall of Fame earlier this year.

In 2015, he founded the Family Bonds Foundation, the nonprofit giving arm of Internova Travel Group that supports the charitable needs of those who work within the travel industry as well as the wider community.
