Exoticca Expands Sales Team in Canada

Tour operator Exoticca has appointed two new sales directors in Ontario.

As part of its strategy to expand in the Canadian market, the company has appointed Desiree Rolle, formerly of Couples Resorts, as director of sales for Ontario East and Jazmin Jimenez, previously with Sunwing Vacations, as director of sales for Ontario West.

Exoticca, founded in Barcelona in 2013, entered the Canadian market in 2019 and has doubled its presence in the past year. Diana Winters, promoted to VP of sales in Ontario, reports to Mike Quinto, Canada's managing director. The sales team also includes Aerin Chauncey (Atlantic Canada), Maryanne Dubé (Quebec), Sharon Wilson (Prairies), and Cindy Chau (British Columbia).

Previously the director of sales- Canada at Couples Resorts, Rolle announced her new role on LinkedIn: "I’m so excited to share that I’m starting a new position as Director of Sales, Eastern Ontario at Exoticca!" Her repertoire includes business development, sales and marketing, program administration and client service management.

Jimenez, formerly BDM Central Ontario and Atlantic Canada at Sunwing, also announced her new role on her social platform. Her skills include business development, relationship building, group sales, customer service and leisure travel.
