Dennis Lowry Announces Departure from Porter Airlines

After over eight years with Porter Airlines, Dennis Lowry has announced his resignation as distribution manager, effective 02AUG 2024.

"This decision has been on my mind for quite a while, but it was certainly not an easy one to make," Lowry wrote on LinkedIn.

"Porter has given me the opportunity to learn and grow, provide input and drive change. I’ve been so very lucky to have been part of so many great initiatives, an incredible growth trajectory, worked with so many incredible vendors, agents & industry colleagues. And, I’ve made so many friendships and connections along the way. I’ll miss it all."

Lowry said the time was right for him to step back and focus on "enjoying life in general," but plans to return to the industry "in some capacity" in the future.

"Working in travel, as you all know, can be incredibly challenging but so, so very rewarding," he added.

Porter has posted the job listing.
