Air Canada Vacations (ACV) has promoted Erminia Gallina from general manager of sales to director of sales.

"Erminia and I have worked together for many years and I have relied on her natural sales savvy since hiring her into her first sales position many years ago during our Sunquest days," Nino Montagnese, VP at Air Canada Vacations told Open Jaw.

Gallina's new role involves developing Air Canada Vacations' national sales strategy and expanding the brand's business and distribution channels.

Montagnese continued, "It is a real pleasure to now have her on the senior leadership team at Air Canada Vacations.

"Her sales and leadership skills will continue to help the Sales Organization at Air Canada Vacations flourish as we support our trade partners."

ACV's former director of sales, Ana Paula De Souza, has moved to Air Canada as director of sales—Canada and global accounts.
