Mike Miguel Takes On British Airways/Iberia as Strategic Market Manager

Mike Miguel, Strategic Market Manager for Canada, British Airways/Iberia

British Airways/Iberia have appointed Mike Miguel as Strategic Market Manager for Canada, based in Toronto.

Miguel brings over 25 years of aviation industry experience to British Airways/Iberia, most recently serving as the Commercial Director for Jetport in the private aviation space. Before that, Miguel held roles as VP Commercial Markets/Strategy at Air Georgian, and commercial strategy roles at WestJet and American Airlines. He’s also worked for tour operators, having covered leisure retailers, OTAs, consolidators, corporates sales and TMC relationships.

Miguel is a passionate traveler, who has visited over 83 countries. He speaks four languages and believes in the positive impact of tourism to local economies around the world.

Miguel reports to Claire Curtis, British Airways/Iberia Head of North America Leisure Sales/Revenue Integrity. Curtis is based in Los Angeles, managing a team of key account managers and revenue integrity specialists who report to the Head of North America Sales Norma Rios.
