Richard Todd Returns to Unique Vacations Canada in Newly-Created Role

Richard Todd returns to Unique Vacations Canada as Senior Sales Consultant

Richard Todd has returned to Unique Vacations Canada in the newly-created role of Senior Sales Consultant.

Effective immediately, Todd will serve as a high-level resource to Maureen Barnes-Smith, Vice President, Sales & Marketing Canada, and C.J. Smith, Director of Sales, on overall sales strategy and execution for the Canadian market.

“To have someone of Richard’s high calibre, both professionally and personally, join my sales team at this time, during the era of Sandals 2.0, is exhilarating. His vast experience and strong skill-set is perhaps only matched by his passion for the Sandals brand and his deep connections to the Canadian market” said Barnes-Smith. “I know that travel advisors will be equally, if not more so, excited to have him back at Unique Vacations Canada and will join me in saying ‘welcome home Richard’.”

Todd first joined the Sandals family in 1991, working in various on-resort roles in Jamaica before receiving a promotion to work out of the Sandals Resorts International corporate office in Montego Bay and then eventually emigrating to Canada in 1999. He spent several years as part of the Unique Vacations Canada sales team between 1999 and 2005 before being promoted and moved to the United States, where he held a number of positions, including National Training Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing, West Coast region.
