Brazil Launches eVisa Platform for Citizens of Canada, U.S., and Australia

Brazil has launched a platform through which citizens of the U.S., Canada, and Australia can obtain an electronic Visa (eVisa) to enter the country.

At a cost of USD $80.90 per person, the eVisa can take all the processed online.

The electronic visa will allow multiple entries and will have the same validity period as conventional visas for the following nationalities:

• Canadians: 5-year period;
• Australians: 5-year period;
• Americans: 10-year period.

Canadians, Americans, and Australians must apply for the document for arrivals scheduled from 10JAN 2024 onwards.

The system was developed by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to simplify the process.
