Group Bookings Now Available in Transat’s Tripbook

In collaboration with Softvoyage, Transat has developed a self-service group booking feature for its Tripbook platform.

Travel advisors can now select seats for each guest in the same room, add luggage, generate electronic documents, and make payments for the group booking.

"By being the first to adopt this technology, Transat is making it easier for travel agencies to book groups by giving them greater autonomy, which translates into efficiencies throughout the process,” explains Julie Sareault, Transat's commercial director. “Integrating groups into Tripbook was a long-standing request, and we have listened. This is an important step forward for us.”

A second phase of development is planned to add even more self-service features to Tripbook and will be presented in the coming months.
