Air Canada Vacations just launched the 2025 Asia, South America, Oceania & Beyond Travel Agent Toolkit to help advisors “work smarter, not harder.”
Erminia Gallina, ACV’s GM of Sales in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, touted the functionality of the new program—which is one among several major promotions slated for this year to commemorate its half-centenary.
“We decided to commit to creating certain toolkits that are only for travel advisors,” Erminia Gallina, ACV’s GM of Sales in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, told Open Jaw. “They can interact with our information as if it’s a cheat sheet.”
The product will add host of new destinations—Morocco, Brazil, Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand, India and China, with Chile soon to follow—to a robust destination portfolio.
But it’s the ease of use, says Gallina, that will make ACV’s latest promotional toolkit popular with advisors. Functioning as a somewhat of one-stop-shop by streamlining all the salient details, Gallina says the expedience will boost advisors’ bottom lines.
“Travel advisors have so much information out there, so it's hard for them to keep track,” she continued. “We want to make sure that every consumer has a travel advisor, and I think that, as long as the travel advisor is promoting our product, the consumer will enjoy the ease of booking.”
There’s certainly a market to capitalize upon. According to survey research from Sabre, the Asia Pacific has proven the most popular region for travellers so far this year, with bookings surging by 34% year-over-year.
Survey results moreover revealed that millennials and Gen-Z travellers highly value convenience and seamless bookings, highlighting the evolving needs of travellers and the advisors who serve them.
“Now is the opportunity for travel agents to curate the perfect trip. To do so effectively, travel agents need advanced technology to sift through the vast array of options and present the most relevant ones to their clients,” said Madhavan Kasturi, Sabre’s Head of Global Solution Engineering.
“That’s why we developed our multi-source content platform to solve content fragmentation, empowering agencies to compare, shop, book, and service all types of travel content with ease.”
