African Travel Announces Incentives to Celebrate Global Travel Advisor Day

African Travel, Inc.

In celebration of Global Travel Advisor Day, African Travel, Inc. (ATI) announced that travel advisors will be rewarded with a USD$50.00 e-gift card for every new custom safari booking made and deposited between 01MAY and 31MAY, 2024.

Advisors also have the opportunity to participate in ATI’s African Travel Educational Program by joining FAM trips, which are scheduled throughout the year. Additionally, they can explore Africa with their loved ones at a time and date of their preference with up to a 30% discount on all 2024 tailor-made itineraries offering 40 unique journeys. When they have secured 5+ bookings, advisors can travel with 3 guests.

“On Global Travel Advisor Day, we acknowledge that 92% of our business comes from travel advisors, and we consider this relationship to be sacred. We protect it every single day by working closely with advisors and would like to express our gratitude for all their efforts,” says Sherwin Banda, President of African Travel, Inc. “Advisors know their clients best and how to advocate for them. When working together with us, they are instrumental in helping deliver the promised luxury experience that their clients expect from African Travel, Inc.,” he further adds. ATI’s Travel Advisor Guide is designed to assist advisors in closing sales effectively and successfully. As Africa can be quite daunting, the guide includes helpful resources such as frequently asked questions, downloadable itineraries, videos and other valuable resources that advisors can use to close sales of these itineraries.

As members of the African Travel Specialist program, advisors are granted access to the Travel Advisor resources and the Advisor Academy. Advisors can learn about marketing and event support, travel discounts, new webinar series, and other effective selling tools.

Advisors work with ATI’s sales teams in respective regions to plan in-person or virtual training, co-host events, and collaborate to ensure the best success in promoting African safaris to their clients. ATI will relaunch the Advisor Academy e-learning program later this year in line with its 2025 brochure.
