Small group adventure tour company Exodus Travels has announced that its self-guided tours will be resuming this summer beginning in JUL.
After the pandemic, Exodus says its goal is to build travel back better. The company will be donating USD $100 from every booking that is placed before the end of 2022 to their global Community Kickstart Project, which was created as a means to support those who were hit the hardest by the pandemic in destinations that heavily rely on tourism.
Self-guided tours from Exodus allow guests to experience cycling, walking, or cultural adventures at their own pace. Self-guided trips to Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, Malta, and Bermuda will all be available for JUL and AUG.
Small group-led tours will resume in AUG and SEP, and adventurers will once again have the chance to sip their way through vineyards, enjoy seafood on the beach, take part in hikes towards waterfalls, cycle through medieval hilltop towns, or experience the wild on a safari. These tours will be offered in Greece, Portugal, Spain, Galapagos, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Africa, Iceland, Turkey, and Switzerland.
Through its Community Kickstart Project, Exodus recognizes that the opportunity to travel is a privilege, and that any people were affected not only by COVID-19, but by the significant lack of tourism dollars caused by the resulting pandemic.
Exodus’ donations provide funds for these and other projects:
- Meals for the vulnerable people of Kathmandu, Nepal
- Food packages for families of the porters of Peru’s Inca Trail
- Education catch up and school openings for kids in Zambia
- Essential hygiene and school packets for families along the Mekong Delta, Laos
