I’m beyond excited to be part of the very first FAM trip hosted by Air Canada Vacations to Australia, joining a small group of travel agents from across Canada as we set off to discover all that Queensland has to offer. This exclusive experience is a sneak peek into Air Canada Vacations’ brand-new Australia tour packages program, making it easier than ever for Canadians to access the iconic Land Down Under.
Air Canada Vacations offers the world, and for many of these advisors a chance to check off a bucket list destination. We took off from Vancouver nonstop to Brisbane, a mere 13.5 hours, crossing the dateline, neck pillows and all.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Wendy Hanson from the Brisbane Economic Development Agency, who surprised us with an unexpected visit to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, just a 30-minute drive from Brisbane. We were all thrilled at the opportunity to see koalas and kangaroos in this nature reserve.
