Club Med Opens Second Canadian Store in Toronto

Club Med

Club Med announced the opening of its second Canadian agency, located in Toronto, on 06DEC.

Located at 361 Queen Street West, the newest store comes two years after the inauguration of the Club Med Montréal agency and the launch of Club Med Québec Charlevoix.

With the opening of brick-and-mortar agencies, Club Med said it provides "a personalized experience for its clients" - from booking to advice from travel experts - providing services "that are not possible in an online world."

Club Med will also offer a virtual reality experience "that invites customers to explore Club Med resorts around the world before deciding where to book."

Québec-based design firm Conceptum, the same firm that designed the first Club Med agency in Montréal, created the interiors of the new travel agency, taking inspiration from Club Med resorts.

"We are very proud to be opening the first Club Med Agency in Toronto," said Vincent Giraud, Managing Director of Club Med Canada and North America Sales Operations. "Club Med remains deeply committed to servicing the Canadian market, including Ontario. We look forward to welcoming more guests in person to experience Club Med's exceptional customer service and to book their own trip to Club Med Québec Charlevoix or one of our other unforgettable Ski or Sun destinations around the world."

The Montréal agency, which has been in operation since 2021, has successfully connected Great Members (GMs) with the Club Med brand along with a growing business, including for indirect partners.

The agency has also contributed to the successful launch of the first Canadian resort, Club Med Québec Charlevoix, in December 2021, which saw 80% of guests from Canada in its first year (35% from Ontario directly). The physical space has allowed travel advisors to create relationships and host events that give them a glimpse into the Club Med experience.

Club Med also shared that it will add new resorts to its portfolio, including Kiroro Grand in Japan, a new resort in Malaysia, and, for the first time, a resort in South Africa, as well as various expansions in the Alps. These developments will be added to Club Med's 70 existing destinations worldwide.
