Grand Velas Riviera Maya is offering a festive Hanukkah celebration "complete with Hanukkah-themed activities, traditional meals, nightly candle lighting, and gift-wrapped toys available for purchase."

According to Grand Velas, activities will be held at the Mexican resort from 07DEC through 15DEC. For celebrating families, a large central menorah will be lit nightly. Menorahs and candles will also be available in individual guest suites upon request. As far as cuisine, traditional Hanukkah favourites will be available at the resort's oceanfront Azul Restaurant.

In addition to the Hanukkah menus, latkes, also known as potato pancakes, will be available on the buffet. Furthermore, gift-wrapped Hanukkah toys for children of all ages will be available for purchase in advance on the resort's Festive Website

Children are invited to join the celebration with bracelet making, "Do Your Dreidel," and cookie decorating.

Other activities will include a paint and wine session and Hanukkah trivia. To wrap up the celebration, on 07DEC and 15DEC, David's Star Cookies will be available as a night amenity for guests.

Resort nightly rates start at USD $612 per person per night. Rates are based on double occupancy and include luxury suite accommodations, à la carte gourmet meals at various specialty restaurants, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, fitness center, taxes, and gratuity.
