Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced its continued expansion with 35 new properties expected to open through 2022. Eight have already opened in 2021.

“Hyatt is committed to delivering thoughtful and immersive stays and experiences in top-tier destinations all over the world to meet the needs of our guests as they begin planning vacations again.”
This year, Hyatt has opened the Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas in Encinitas, California, the Alila Napa Valley, which marked Hyatt’s 1,000th hotel opening, Alila Hinu Bay in Salalah, Oman, the Andaz Bali in Indonesia, the Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis and the Hyatt Centric SouthPark Charlotte.
With the Chicago-headquartered company’s brand of Thompson Hotels, it has opened San Antonio, Texas and Savannah, Georgia locations.
The company has also opened a new brand of hotels with Caption by Hyatt. The first of which is in Beale St. Memphis, with one to follow in Shanghai.
Their new locations coming next year span the globe, from Australia, India, China, the Maldives, Malaysia, the US and more.
The Canadian additions include an Andaz Toronto hotel, a Hyatt Centric Montreal, and the Park Hyatt in Toronto that is reopening after a multi-million dollar redesign.
