Days after revealing a significant number of cancellations on three of its ships, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced additional cancelled cruises on a fourth vessel.

Norwegian Jade's cruises from 18OCT 2025 to 16FEB 2026 have been cancelled.

The ship will now be based in San Diego instead of Miami for the season, offering Caribbean cruises of 6 to 14 nights.

“The Norwegian Jade will be redeployed and will soon be offering seven-day round trip sailings from San Diego to the Mexican Riviera where guests can explore a blend of stunning coastal landscapes, rich cultural experiences, and unforgettable culinary delights,” the company said.

Cruise Industry News reports the ship’s new schedule on the West Coast will be available for booking soon.

Last week, the cruise line scrapped 38 sailings between November 2025 and April 2026 on its Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Star and Norwegian Jewel vessels.

The following sailings were impacted:

  • Norwegian Dawn: 02NOV 2025 through 12APR 2026
  • Norwegian Star: 20NOV 2025 through 14APR 2026
  • Norwegian Jewel: 23NOV 2025 through 05APR 2026

According to USA Today, NCL cited “fleet redeployment” as the reason for the changes in letters sent to passengers and travel partners on 21NOV.

Cruise Mummy reports NCL is becoming known for altering its season due to low demand.

Travellers will receive a full refund and a 10% future cruise credit.
