Atlas Ocean Voyages is expanding its offerings with the introduction of Cultural Expeditions by Atlas for the 2024 season.
The expeditions aim to provide guests with diverse cultural experiences such as folkloric encounters, art, architecture and museum visits. This new expedition facet complements the existing Epicurean Expeditions and Polar Expeditions by Atlas.
Cultural Expeditions will feature a range of itineraries, including an eight-night "Spotlight on Brazil" voyage from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, a Transoceanic 13-night "Mystique of the Azores" journey from St. Maarten to Lisbon and an 11-night "Picturesque Peaks & Fjords" expedition from London to Tromso. Guests can expect free cultural immersion tours, enrichment programs, and exclusive onboard experiences on each voyage.
In addition to the introduction of Cultural Expeditions, Atlas Ocean Voyages has also recently announced the addition of 26 new expeditions for its latest yacht, World Voyager. Departing between MAR and OCT 2024, these itineraries include Atlas Ocean Voyages' first-ever Caribbean voyages, as well as South America journeys to Argentina, Brazil, and the Falklands.
"We look forward to offering new itineraries and exploring new regions, including the Caribbean, for the first time onboard our expedition yachts,” said James Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages. "From vibrant cultural experiences to adventurous polar expeditions, these new itineraries showcase the richness and diversity of our destinations. We are excited to share these unforgettable journeys with our guests."
In addition to the expanded itineraries, 20 new ports of call have been added, including Balneário Camboriú (Blumenau), Brazil; Ilha Grande, Brazil; Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia; and Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
Extended exploration opportunities are also available through Atlas Ocean Voyages' twelve combination voyages of up to 21 nights.
